First Royalties Statement!

So this day finally arrived yesterday. It is a day that, at times, has been the only thing I could think of and, very occasionally, one I had almost completely forgotten about.

Let me tell you about it:
So it was about six thirty PM on Saturday 2nd December. We had been out all day Christmas shopping, food shopping, getting haircuts, visiting family and were just relieved to be home.
To my surprise, as this is a rare event this days, there was more than one letter hanging out of the letterbox. Being December, you expect nearly all post to be Christmas cards and yes, one of the three was indeed this, from my Uncle Charlie. The second was very exciting, a letter from the hospital giving me my pre-op date. Have been needing this operation for about 3 years now so it was amazing.
My excitement then doubled when I noticed the outside of the third envelope. It had finally arrived. Once I had spoken to Blanche, I carefully peeled open the envelope and slowly pulled out the wad of paper and began reading.

We have made a solid start and I am happy. I now look forward to sharing my book with as many more people as I possibly can.
